Refund & Cancellation Policy

At The Mediks, our priority is to provide exceptional content and materials in collaboration with professionals and certified medical doctors, to ensure the best experience for everyone.

This policy sets out the terms for refunds and cancellations for all paid services offered by The Mediks, including Workshops and Research Programs (together, "Programs").

1. No Refunds

All registrations and payments for Workshops and Research Programs are final. The Mediks does not offer cash or card refunds under any circumstances. Where this policy allows it, eligible amounts are instead saved as credits in your balance account.

2. Workshops

If you are unable to attend a workshop, your payment will be saved as credits in your balance account in the following cases:

Cancellation by The Mediks: the workshop is canceled by the company's decision.
Extraordinary circumstances: the workshop cannot take place due to an event that could not be predicted or prevented, such as natural disasters, government restrictions, war, or other unforeseen events.
Cancellation by you at least 48 hours in advance: if you cancel at least 48 hours before the workshop starts, your payment will be saved as credits for a future workshop.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the workshop, and no-shows, are not eligible for credits.

3. Research Programs

Research Programs run over several weeks and involve mentor time, supervision, and limited places reserved for each participant. For this reason, the following terms apply:

Cancellation by The Mediks: if a Research Program is canceled by the company's decision or due to extraordinary circumstances (as described in Section 2), the full amount paid will be saved as credits in your balance account.
Cancellation by you at least 7 days before the program start date: the full amount paid will be saved as credits in your balance account.
Cancellation by you less than 7 days before the start date, or after the program has started: no credits will be issued.
Installment plans: if you pay in installments, you remain responsible for the full program fee once the program has started. Withdrawing from the program does not cancel remaining installments.
Removal from a program: participants removed from a Research Program for breach of our Terms of Service (including plagiarism, data fabrication, misconduct, or repeated non-participation) are not eligible for credits.
Transfers: at our discretion, a participant who cannot continue for a documented serious reason (e.g., medical emergency) may be transferred to a later cohort of the same program, subject to availability.

Research Program outcomes such as publication, conference acceptance, or authorship positions depend on third parties and on each participant's contribution. They are not guaranteed, and failure to achieve them is not grounds for credits or refunds.

4. Balance Account Credits

Credits can be used toward any future Workshop or Research Program offered by The Mediks.
Credits expire 45 days after the date they are issued.
Credits are non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be combined with other offers unless stated otherwise.
If a future Program costs more than your available credits, you pay the difference. If it costs less, any remaining credits stay in your balance account until they expire.

5. Your Safety

We take every situation into consideration, and your safety will always be our concern. If an event may involve any risk, we will work thoroughly to postpone or cancel the Program and will notify you as early as possible.
